Due to its high antioxidants content, Green Season is a bit bitter on the palate and very spicy in the throat. This is the proof of its health benefits.
This is an olive oil for people who are expert and appreciate the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil.
It pairs well with high quality bread, burrata, seafood, vegetable soups, legume soups, pasta courses, tomato sauce, barbecue meat. It is excellent on top of all your salads or avocado.

Dear Leslie, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about my extra virgin olive oils.
Using a high quality EVOO, rich in polyphenols, such as Equilibrium and Green Season EVOO, is super important in order to stay healthy and lose weight in a natural way…..and also in a tasty way. No supplements and no drugs can compare the taste of food when good extra virgin olive oil is added to it.
It has been a pleasure being in touch with you since we met through your book club and organized that fun olive oil tasting.
I wish lots of joy and continous health to you and your family.
Big hugs,
Cinzia

I was introduced to Cinzia and her EVOO in 2021 when we did a long distance olive oil tasting with my book club hosted by one of her friends and clients. After learning the benefits of several olive oils (and the lack of benefits to some) and tasting the differences, I have never looked back. As an active women in my 60s, I am interested in maintaining the best health possible and especially managing inflammation and weight. I enjoy the EVOO from Artisans of Taste every day and I give it to my friends and family so they too can experience the benefits. Thank you Cinzia and your team.

I love both Green Season and Equilibrium. I think Green Season very slightly edges out Equilibrium for me because of its extra bold flavor. But I always order some of each, once or twice a year. When I want to make a present of a bottle of olive oil to someone who is new to exquisite olive oil, I give them Equilibrium, since it’s a little milder. But oh, how I love the assertive presence of Green Season! It tastes of a hot, dry summer day & makes me happy no matter the weather!

I love this olive oil, possibly the best I have ever tasted. it is packed with flavour. Even a couple of tablespoons adds a depth and richness to most dishes. It works on cold salads as well at hot soups and tray bakes.

I’ve ordered Cinzia’s oils for the first time this year. It has been a wonderful surprise. I am not new to this kind of high-end olive oils, but both the Green Season and the Equilibrium far exceeded my expectations. I like them so much that I invited a friend/oil expert over for lunch the other day to try my new oils. He brought three oils that he considers among the best he ever had: one from Sicily (a super high-end oil produced in very small quantities) and two from Australia. So just for fun we did a blind test (with the help of a good baguette and some parmesan cheese and prosciutto di Parma) of his oils vs the Green Season and the Equilibrium. They were all wonderful but in the end Green Season came out first, Equilibrium second, and the Sicilian oil third (although it was close to Equilibrium in taste). It’s a matter of taste, but I slightly prefer Green Season for its slightly more pronounced bitterness. But Equilibrium is superb for certain applications. For instance, my wife and I did our best pesto genovese ever with it, using our own basil.

Dear Jim and Cheryl, thank you so much for your review. I consider both Green Season and Equilibrium like a “natural medicine” that can help all of us stay healthy and prevent so many aging related diseases. From the work done in the countryside, picking the olives, pressing them, to packaging and shipping the resulting EVOO, everything is carefully studied in a way that the antioxidant content is at the maximum. It is very difficult to find extra virgin olive oils with such high level of antioxidants on the market, even when very expensive (at least it does not happen to me very often…and I taste many EVOOs). And I appreciate your comment about the packaging: I see so many EVOOs in a clear/transparent glass bottle….or even worst, in a clear plastic bottle….and I always worry about that olive oil!

We have been fans of Green Season Extra Virgin Olive Oil for several years now. We first learned how to taste olive oil in Puglia with Cinzia who is an official EVOO taster. Needless to say, Green Season EVOO excels on every one of the mandatory tests an olive oil must pass to be designated EVOO. It is very high in antioxidants. On the front of the palate, one gets a grassy-woody flavor. It is very tannic and in your face (in a good way). The peppery notes in the back of the tongue are very pronounced and it will cause you to have the characteristic catch in the throat of a really good EVOO. This is not an EVOO for everyone, but for us, it is the EVOO we use by far the most. It is our lipid of choice on our toast in the morning, for example, and for cooking and in salads. We are on track to go through two cases this year and our fingers are crossed that we can make it to the next pressing. A word about the packaging: It comes in cylindrical tins that have a relatively small opening at the top and are resealable. These qualities help minimize the two most prevalent causes of EVOO deterioration – air and light. In short, we are very comfortable ordering cases at a time because we know we will use them. It is that good. Even counting shipping to the United States, for a top-flight EVOO, we believe Green Season to be a relative bargain.
